Workshop on organic standards

The Food Standards Industry Series customised for food companies are interested in organizing the workshop and to increase their potentials with the best practices to improve their productivity. It is also focused in the facilitate market access to move up the value chain. This workshop will cover the overview of organic standards and understanding of the route to organic certification by industry players.

The workshop will be conducted on may 14 at Merah Singapore 159457.The main objective of the workshop is that the participants will be provided with an understanding of the overview of organic standards and its principles. Participants will learn from case studies on the various routes to organic certification from three organic farmers who had successfully obtained their organic standards certification.

The participants will also be given the opportunity to understand about the application of various organic standards and principles such as National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia (NASAA).The Programme is tentative and is subject to change at the sole discretion of Singapore Manufacturing Federation.
